Believe in the Power of Kindness!
QI Montessori is kicking off a yearlong project to focus on kindness for the 2011-2012 school year. Maria Montessori believed in educating the whole child - cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.One aspect of the Montessori Method centers on grace and courtesy. The lessons in grace and courtesy provide a foundation on which to build and they set a tone of learning mutual respect and kindness.
Each month in our classrooms we will have special projects and lessons on various aspects of kindness.
